Hygrothermal bending analysis of sandwich nanoplates with FG porous core and piezomagnetic faces <i>via</i> nonlocal strain gradient theory

Abstract The bending of sandwich nanoplates made functionally graded (FG) porous core and electromagnetic layers is explored for the first time through a nonlocal strain gradient theory four-unknown shear deformation theory. proposed model can account both impacts. Therefore, stiffness enhancement reduction processes are observed. porosities in nanoplate modeled with even uneven distribution patterns. Six equations equilibrium constructed by using virtual work principle. effects porosity factor, externally applied electric magnetic fields, parameter, temperature moisture parameters, aspect ratio, side-to-thickness ratio on static behaviors FG simply supported boundary conditions demonstrated parametric study. This article offers comparison treatments investigation smart nanoplates, which be used variety computational methods. According to results, deflections induced negative potentials behave differently than those brought positive potentials. Other important findings reached that should aid development implementation structures.
